Get Moving
It’s been a while since my love affair with yoga took a pause. I used to practice almost every day for an hour and half. I ended up stopping because I didn’t see my body changing and I felt that I wanted a more upbeat workout. Well, I am back. I have been waking up every morning and unrolling my yoga mat. I don’t go crazy or anything. I just stretch. I get my body moving and I take a lot of deep breaths. Some mornings I can barely even get half way to touching my toes. Other times, I feel like a golden god(dess) doing poses left and right (no pun intended!). Bottom line – it feels so awesome to start your day that way. Try it out. Put a yoga mat next to your bed and first thing in the morning do a couple minutes of stretching and see how you feel.
