This past week I was lucky enough to go on a team retreat to Nicaragua. We stayed at the lovely and rustic Costa Dulce. The food was wonderful, the company was lovely and the waves were amazing.

I’ve liked being in Los Angeles so much more than I thought I would and am somewhat bummed to leave (though also excited for plans ahead). Looking Back
It’s been about six months since I left my job and hit the road, so to speak. This has definitely been a unique period of time and I feel grateful that I’ve been able to take this time, basically to just be. I have done and seen a lot over the past couple of months it’s nice to look back and remember that.

This weekend was all about The Disco Emporium at the Artists and Fleas market in downtown LA. It was such a great time and a wonderful group of vendors and customers! Thank you to everyone who came out and an extra special thanks to this crowd below for their help & support!
My Birthday Weekend
I had the best weekend ever! On Friday afternoon I was taken to Blown in Beverly Hills where all of my friends were waiting for me. Once we all got blow outs, we headed to Olive + June to get our nails done. Then, all glam-ed up, we headed to Gracias Madre for a cocktail. After a whirlwind of surprises we ended up in the Hollywood Hills where we would be staying for the weekend! The food was amazing. The company was the best ever. And I have never felt more special and loved in my whole life.

Reminders
So far 2015 has been nutso. It has had some extreme highs and extreme lows for me. But today I can’t help but think of all the lessons I have learned in just the past 3 months. I realized how much I have already learned when I was looking at all of the pictures I have taken in just 2015. There are not that many, but here are some of my favorites and what they remind me of.
The beach always slows me down.
Finding the moon everywhere makes me feel loved.
Reppin’ Valley Cruise Press however and whenever I can is awesome.
I am not afraid to looking inside (or outside) of myself for answers.
My home really is where my heart is.
It is important to stop and pay attention to what is right in front of you
It’s a marathon, not a sprint.
And it is really important to have fun and laugh a lot.
And remind yourself how small you are and that you can’t even comprehend the other influences at play.
