We are sisters Farrell & Lauren. We started Sister Disco as a place to bring together our common interests, shared experiences and personal perspectives. We’re both dedicated to holistic, conscious living peppered with individual style, great art and music and as many dance parties as we can get our hands on. We feel incredibly grateful to have many, many wonderfully talented people in our lives and seek to share this space with them, and them with you through our Homie of the Day series and other posts.
We are originally from Cleveland, Ohio (along with our two brothers aka Brother Tango) and each moved to New York City right out college; Lauren first, followed by Farrell five years later. After another five years of fun together in NYC, Farrell packed her things and set out on a six month backpacking trip around the world, which is chronicled along with our other travels here. Farrell is currently back in Cleveland planning out her next move, which will most likely be to L.A. Lauren is still living in New York and though we didn’t plan it this way, it’s looking like this party is going bi-coastal!
